Left and Gone
Faces around give bitter thought
Reminiscent of long lost love
Strong disease the Maiden caught
Has sent away the snow white dove
Maiden has long disappeared
Her shadow, dark, was left and feared
Loud voice hid a ghostly moan
Where are thou, dear the unknown?
Damsel curled all alone
Her laughter sang a broken tone
For strong she may have been seen
How foolish, Damsel, thou have been
Maiden’s left, Maiden’s gone
Damsel sang loud on her own
Reaching hands have yet to meet
Where has it gone, the hollow greet?
